About The Role

Lincoln are currently assisting a leading contractor within the steel fabrication and installation industry whom operate across all of Australia.

They are on the hunt for an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join their growing team.

You will oversee the fabrication and installation of steel structures and frameworks, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Project Planning and Management: such as project plans, timelines, and budgets for steel fabrication and installation projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, fabricators, and site management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations for quality and safety.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project timelines and costs.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare regular reports for senior management and clients.

Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry, particularly in Steel fabrication with an emphasis on installation.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully managing diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in using various project management software and tools to effectively manage and oversee projects.
  • Possess relevant educational qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Australian construction and safety regulations.
